The museum, located in the centre of the town and founded in 1936, now houses an impressive collection, unique in Romania, dedicated to woodworking in Bukovina.
Tools, weapons, tools, household objects, musical instruments, wooden carts (one of which is 400 years old), chest of drawers (over 250-350 years old), pillars and doors of houses with ornate craftsmanship. That’s why anyone who visits this ancient treasure trove of peasant art comes away feeling they’ve seen a world.
